An annual Christmas tradition in Loulé is the arrival of Santa Claus on 1st December, which also marks the start of the festive season events in the municipality.
Santa’s arrival is expected at 15:00 on Friday, 1 December, with a parade through the city and then he opens Aldeia dos Sonhos Christmas Village in Loulé which will be open through 6th January.
Santa will arrive in Quarteira on 2 December at 10:00, in Praça do Mar and Rua Vasco da Gama where Christmas markets, music, and dance entertainment are scheduled throughout the season.
From there, Santa is expected to arrive at Almancil at 15:00 at Jardim das Comunidades.
Christmas lights around the cities will only come on 6th December, and will then shine daily from 17:30 to 23:30.
